Sgt. Tommy Saunders, a Boston cop is stationed at the finish line of the marathon race was handling all the situation very well until two explosions ruined the race causing multiple casualties and death. FBI and Boston officers start their investigation to find out who is behind this bombing and the only thing they has is video surveillance.
Mark Wahlberg's character is a fictional one created by the director to make the story more interesting. This is the third time Mark Wahlberg acting in Peter Berg's movie and like previous two this one is also based on a true story. The film has no cliche action scenes and after the blast, the film shows how fast law enforcement agencies work. Also the whole film looks like four layers to me first was building up each characters, second explosion and its outcome, third investigation and fourth Chasing. Overall, it's a must watch for those who like true stories and I really enjoyed it.
