Disorder (French: Maryland) is a French drama-thriller film directed by Alice Winocour.
Starring Matthias Schoenaerts, Diane Kruger, Paul Hamy, Zaïd Errougui-Demonsant & Percy Kemp.
Vincent is an ex-soldier who suffers from a stress disorder after returning from Afghanistan. While on vacation, he took part time jobs and one night he ends up as a security guard for a party conducted by Whalid. Anyway, it went all well and gets another offer of a 48 hour job to babysit Whalid's wife and her son. It was supposed to be an easy task for Vincent which was not going to happen anyway.
Winocour plays with our mind from the start and constantly underestimate Vincent's judgement. The film has a good ambience and ending is left to the viewer's imagination. Both Schoenaerts and Kruger looks good in their roles and Winocour approach to their chemistry was a little different though. Overall, It's a slow paced movie and watchable flick.
