Siblings Dane and lucas lives with their mom, Susan and they just moved to a new neighborhood. The only thing that matters to Dane is the beautiful girl next door, Julie. Susan spends most of her time in office. Everything was going well until Dane and Lucas finds a black hole in their basement.
Technically, the film can be watchable without getting bored and Joe Dante actually reminds me of old style film making. It's a simple movie that can be watchable in relaxation time. The effort was made to make a nice engaging horror movie, unfortunately it doesn't particularly deliver. Overall, it's a one time watchable flick.
