In old days Troy plays baseball in order to make into the Negro League and dropped out due to age limit. The only one who can handle Troy's rage is his wife Rose.
Acting wise, it's a superb movie. Denzel Washington portraits the role of a very complex man and as a dynamic performer Denzel once again show his acting skills. The film's script is based on an unfinished draft by Wilson, who died in 2005. The Supporting actress role was handled by Viola Davis and casting her as Rose was one of the best things that happened in this film. Overall, it's a beautiful movie and highly recommended to everyone.
