Cheung is a cancer patient who has only a few weeks to live. He decides to make his remaining days interesting and for that he enters an office building and creates a hostage situation. Cheung needs the attention of Police negotiator, Sean, who is very good at his job. From there onwards a 72 hour cat and mouse game begins between Cheung and Sean.
It's a stylish movie. The cat and mouse game between Andy Lau and Ching Wan Lau was nicely handled by the director. Also the screenwriters mainly focused on these two characters, both lead actors were highly likeable and direction by Johnnie To was impressive. The film has a 3 minute love story which was very nice to watch and loved it. Overall, it's a surprisingly well executed thriller movie that has some nice twists and highly recommended.
