The Age of Shadows (Korean: Miljeong) is a South Korean action thriller film directed by Kim Jee-woon.

Set in 1920s, Tells the story of violent conflict between Korean resistance fighters and Japanese military group. Korean police captain, Lee Jung-Chool who now works for Japanese military is assigned to chase down Korean resistance leaders.
It's loosely based on 1923 incident and dedicated to those who fought and died during that conflict. This film gets more attention all over the world when it was selected as the South Korean entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards. Director Kim Jee-Woon provides some thrilling sequences and also got some powerful performances. Overall, it's a pulsating movie with good twists and turns.
