No Man's Land (2001) - 98 min

Country: Bosnia and Herzegovina
Director: Danis Tanović
Cast: Branko Đurić, Rene Bitorajac, Filip Šovagović, Georges Siatidis & Serge-Henri Valcke.
Due to fog, A group of Bosnian soldiers lost their way and ends up in the enemy lines. Serbian soldiers gun down the Bosnians and their commander sends two soldiers to the trench to check out if anyone is still alive.
It won the Academy Award for Best foreign language film of 2001. The whole setup of this movie is extraordinary and it also discusses serious political matters. The performances were excellent and the dialogue delivery of few characters creates some funny moments. Each scene gives a new hope to the viewers and the shifting of the usual scene to political satire was handled intelligently by Tanovic. Overall, it's a good war movie to watch and I can guarantee you that this one will not disappoint you.
Verdict: Good
