Black Friday is an Indian crime film directed by Anurag Kashyap.
Starring Kay Kay Menon, Pavan Malhotra, Aditya Shrivastava, Imtiaz Ali & Pratima Kazmi.
It is based on S. Hussain Zaidi's book that tells the dark story of 1993 Bombay bomb blasts. The story moves forward like chapters explaining the plans of terrorists, execution methods and the investigation techniques.
It's a tribute to those who lost their lives in the Bombay Bomb Blast. The report says that 300 people died in the blast and 1000 people get injured. Anurag Kashyap uses the real life names connected with the case to his characters which is not seen in many films. Kashyap uses his cinematic techniques to make each scene interesting and One of the best example to show how technical superiority helps to make a solid movie. The interrogation scenes were mind blowing and Kay Kay Menon was spectacular in those scenes. Especially, his eyes convey the message to the audience. Overall, it's a highly recommended movie that needs to be seen by every movie lover.
