Country: Croatia
Director: Rajko Grlić
Cast: Toni Gojanović, Sergej Trifunović, Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Verica Nedeska & Bogdan Diklić.
Lieutenant Pasic has a medical condition and he shares his problem with a medical student Sinisa. To cure the disease he needs three weeks and Pasic is ashamed of seeing his wife with this condition, so he send Sinisa to watch out her.
It's a political film about a war which never happened in the history and the story is adapted from a novel by the Croatian journalist Ante Tomic. The tiny little things from each corner of the story guides the viewer into the final showdown. The final scenes were very tempting and it has everything a war movie never wants. Critically everybody praises the movie and the collaboration of ex-Yugoslav countries make it more popular all over the world. Overall, if you are looking for a military oriented black comedy, try 'The Border Post' for a change.
Verdict: Good
