Country: Serbia
Director: Srdan Golubović
Cast: Nebojša Glogovac, Nataša Ninković, Miki Manojlović, Anica Dobra & Bogdan Diklić.
Mladen, the owner of an unsuccessful construction company lives in a tiny apartment with his wife and son. One day his son collapses down and needs an operation which costs 26,000 Euros.
"What price does a human life cost?"!!! This line defines the nature of the plot and Srdjan Golubovic crafted a tense thriller that you can rely on without even thinking. He captures Mladen's emotions and isolating situation beautifully with different angle shots. Klopka is adapted from a novel by Nenad Teofilovic. The Malayalam movie Kumbasaram is an unofficial remake of this movie. The theme was neatly presented by the director and the solid acting from everyone keeps you in the dark mode zone. Overall, the fact of how far a parent would go to save his child makes this an incredibly good movie to watch.
Verdict: Good
