'There's always something authentic concealed in every forgery'
The Best Offer aka La migliore offerta is an English language Italian film that tells a simple story about art. The acting propels the narrative and maintains full focus on Virgil Oldman's character. Geoffrey Rush shines as Virgil Oldman like he did it in 'The King's Speech'. The transformation from arrogant nature to ending nature is more interesting than the waiting game for the big revelation. The Best Offer feels like a slow-paced movie with beautiful sound design, still, it's an impressive movie from Guiseppe Tornatore. Overall, if you like slow paced mystery movies then you can try this one.
Verdict: Good
