The Kid with a Bike (French: Le Gamin au vélo) is a drama film directed by the Belgian brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.

Cyril lives in a children's home and he wants to connect with his father, but can't reach him by phone. He escaped from that home and went to his father's apartment. Cyril discovers that his dad moved out of his old place and his bike is also missing. A hairdresser helps him to find the bike and together they started to search for Cyril's father.
The film shows that how easily criminals can influence troubled kids to do dirty works. The director also discusses about how desperate children need their parental love and care. Thomas portraits the troubled kid nicely and the kindness role of Samantha that drives the whole movie equation was handled by Cécile de France. The film has got some heart touching moments. Overall, it's a beautiful drama movie and highly recommended for those who don't watch drama movies.
