Paul is a struggling screenwriter who lives alone in a remote mountain town. He is planning to sell his house and on his way to meet a real estate agent, Paul encounters a road rage incident with a truck driver. A stranger helps him from a fight with that angry truck driver and In return Paul offers the stranger a place to stay.
Both Banderas and Meyers performance brings out something new to their filmography. The screenplay of this movie is based on a french tv series 'Papillon Noir'. When it comes to this movie, it's a slow burner and Goodman does a fine job in making it more confusing for the viewers. Overall, The final act was kind of twist after twist stuff which ends with an unpredictable scene or you don't have any clue what the hell actually happened.
