Mike, Jimmy and Andrea all goes to Deepwater Horizon oil rig for duty. Jimmy realizes that workers were sent home without doing the concrete foundation. Since the rig is already 43 days behind schedule delivering oil. BP management forces them to start drilling. Before the drilling, they conduct a test that ends up in a disaster.
It’s a full-on action thriller movie and Berg crafts an effective film based on actual events. The explosion scene was very good and the special effects used for those scenes to make it scary. Wahlberg and Hudson create a convincing bond in the movie and Russell delivers a strong performance. Overall, it's a good movie and worth a shot.
