In Order of Disappearance (Norwegian: Kraftidioten) is a Norwegian black comedy action film directed by Hans Petter Moland.
Starring Stellan Skarsgård, Pål Sverre Valheim Hagen, Bruno Ganz, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen & Kristofer Hivju.
Nils is a snow plow driver keeping Norway’s mountain roads clear and he’s just named as ‘citizen of the year’. Unfortunately, Nils’s son dies as a result of the drug overdose. Refusing to believe his son was an addict, Nils starts his own investigation and discovers a local drug gang is behind the crime. Soon, Nils finds the killers and starts to pick one by one.
Each time a guy dies, there is an onscreen memorial in the name of the deceased person and symbol associated with them. Like always, Skarsgard's performance was excellent as Nils and the transformation of silent man to killer man was one of the best things about this killer movie. Overall, it's a nice revenge story with a slight touch of black humor makes it a must watch flick of Stellan Skarsgard.
Verdict: Good
