Hidden Figures (2016) - 127 min

Hidden Figures is an American biographical drama film directed by Theodore Melfi.
Starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kevin Costner & Kirsten Dunst.
The film tells the true story of three African-American women who worked for NASA doing complex mathematics and engineering tasks to help launch the manned spaceflight program of sending astronaut John Glenn into orbit. They work in NASA's Langley Research Center and have different dreams. Katherine Johnson is very good in calculations and works under Al Harrison, director of the Space Task Group. Meanwhile, Dorothy works hard to get a supervisor job and Mary needs an engineering degree to apply for an engineer post.
The friendship between the three leads is the heart of the story. An incredible true story and It's a tribute to real Johnson, Vaughan and Jackson. The storytelling style is conventional, but engaging. Theodore's storytelling way really helps the movie and the story is mainly concentrated on Katherine's character. Overall, it's an inspirational movie and watchable too.
Verdict: Good
