Thondimuthalum Dhriksakshiyum (2017) - 135 min

Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum is a Malayalam language drama film directed by Dileesh Pothan.
Starring Fahadh Faasil, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nimisha Sajayan & Alencier Ley Lopez.
A newly married couple Prasad and Sreeja are planning to shift into kasargode due to some personal issues. During their journey, a thief steals the gold ornament of Sreeja and what happens next makes the story interesting.
A small thread that told in an entirely different way. Both Fahadh and Suraj Venjaramoodu shines in their role. As a newcomer, Nimisha Sajayan makes a fantastic entry to the Malayalam film industry. Once again, Dileesh Pothan strikes as a director with his extremely realistic direction. The stunning visuals were captured by Rajeev Ravi and his trademark of realism was evident in each shot. Overall, it's a good realistic movie and please don't compare this movie with Maheshinte Prathikaram.

Out of the three, Cut was my favorite one and usually the best one is kept for the last, Not this time. The director of 'Cut' is Chan-wook Park who is known for JSA and Oldboy executed the story beautifully with a streak of cinematic perfection. Visually, 'Box' is more compelling than the other two and Dumplings is hard to digest to any audience. Overall, Like the first part this film also lives up to the expectations with the strong female performances.

A jarring movie that deals with the disgusting behavior of human desires and Some people are not meant to be born in the world. This type of psychic desires is happening in many places and the one story that shakes the whole world was the case of Kenneth Douglas. The performances were solid and The final act was also gripping which makes it an interesting watch for thriller fans. Overall, it's not an usual thriller movie to watch with someone, definitely not.

Each story deals with an entirely different topics and three directors effectively presented it. Among the three my favorite one is Going Home and the reason behind is it's powerful execution. Technical wise, Memories is far better than the other two and it employs more film techniques to craft the story. The Wheel tells a traditional story and it took some time to get going. Overall, it's an entirely different approach towards the horror genre and Highly recommended to those who likes to watch serious movie.

The Library Suicides (2016) - 87 min

The Library Suicides is a Welsh thriller film directed by Euros Lyn.
Starring Sharon Morgan, Catrin Stewart, Ryland Teifi, Dyfan Dwyfor & Carwyn Glyn.
A well known author named Elana commits suicide and her last words were suspects name. The identical twin daughter's of Elana decides to enact revenge upon the one who killed their mother.
It's an adaptation of the novel 'The Library' by Fflur Dafydd. When you are adapting a novel, the running time plays a vital role in folding the story fully. Unfortunately, the running time doesn't favor the movie very well. The film opens with ease, As the movie reaches towards the end it starts to flounder. It captures the sprawling locations of the National Library of Wales and most of the scenes took place in the library. When it comes to performance, Catrin Stewart rule that area with her twin characters mannerism. Overall, it's a complicated story that falls sort due to the low running time.

It starts with a Hippocratic Oath, which is meant to be broken in the whole movie. This medical movie follows a simple pattern of murder, autopsy, drugs and sex. Talking about the game, logic is pretty simple you know who did it and what matters here is how. The games took place in the hospital basement and the way each murder mystery unfolds makes it engaging. Overall, it's a sick - twisted thriller movie and Personally, I enjoyed it.

A slasher thriller that shows the true nature of human beings and For survival, they will do anything. Greg's intention was to create a movie like Battle Royale, following the same concept of survival of the fittest. The ending could have been a better one, Unfortunately, falls into the usual cliches. Overall, The concept was fascinating from the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' writer, But it fails to capitalize the ideas. Still, it's a one time watchable movie.

Starring Kay Kay Menon, Pavan Malhotra, Aditya Shrivastava, Imtiaz Ali & Pratima Kazmi.
It is based on S. Hussain Zaidi's book that tells the dark story of 1993 Bombay bomb blasts. The story moves forward like chapters explaining the plans of terrorists, execution methods and the investigation techniques.
It's a tribute to those who lost their lives in the Bombay Bomb Blast. The report says that 300 people died in the blast and 1000 people get injured. Anurag Kashyap uses the real life names connected with the case to his characters which is not seen in many films. Kashyap uses his cinematic techniques to make each scene interesting and One of the best example to show how technical superiority helps to make a solid movie. The interrogation scenes were mind blowing and Kay Kay Menon was spectacular in those scenes. Especially, his eyes convey the message to the audience. Overall, it's a highly recommended movie that needs to be seen by every movie lover.

It's a clean, entertaining movie which packed with glamour and a huge cast. Many scenes and situations of this movie reminds me of Bollywood movies like Housefull, No Entry and Grand Masti. Nadeem Baig's directional debut is saved by the ensemble cast and few funny moments. The humor scenes were safe in the hands of Ahmed Ali and Hamza. When it comes to actresses, they all look stunning in their own roles. Overall, if you are looking for an entertaining movie like No Entry, then you shouldn't miss this one.

Polis Evo (2015) - 120 min

Polis Evo is a Malaysian buddy cop action comedy film directed by Ghaz Abu Bakar.

Two entirely different personalities paired up to solve a case of dragon myth and take down the drug load behind it. One of the personality is Khai who is known as a super cop in the department and the other one is Sani, a family guy from Terengganu.
It follows the same principle of a buddy cop movie, which is Good cop and Bad cop combo. The action scenes seem solid and the car chase stunts were enjoyable. It would have been a better action movie if they put some really good fight scenes of Shaheizy Sam. When it comes to box office records, Polis Evo is currently ruling the title of the highest grossing Malaysian movie. Overall, if you are looking for a good action movie to watch, it's worth your time.

It won the Academy Award for Best foreign language film of 2001. The whole setup of this movie is extraordinary and it also discusses serious political matters. The performances were excellent and the dialogue delivery of few characters creates some funny moments. Each scene gives a new hope to the viewers and the shifting of the usual scene to political satire was handled intelligently by Tanovic. Overall, it's a good war movie to watch and I can guarantee you that this one will not disappoint you.

Clash (2009) - 90 min

Clash (Vietnamese: Bẫy Rồng) is a Vietnamese action martial arts film directed by Le Thanh Son.

Trinh works for a dangerous gangster who is known as Black Dragon. She needs to complete a series of missions to get her kidnapped daughter back. For that, Trinh assembles a team of professional assassins.
The story seems cliche and the thing that really counts here is the action sequences. Johnny (7aum Arivu villain) who is known for doing stuntman in films like Spider Man and Jarhead proves that he is capable of doing those scenes in front of the camera. Le Thanh Son knows how to execute an action movie with conservative editing to see everything in detail. Overall, The action movie fans won't be disappointed with this movie and I enjoyed it.

Loot is a Nepali crime action film directed by Nischal Basnet.

It tells the story of five guys who plans to rob a bank in Kathmandu. Kale plans the perfect robbery and To make it happen, He needs four guys. So he hires one by one and they all are desperate to make money.
The plot is simple and the script looks ridiculous. The first half is fully dedicated to character introduction and the final act was easily predictable. The performances, songs and cinematography, all give a below average feeling. It's hard to say whether I liked it or not. The budget of the movie was 30 lakhs and it collected above 5 crores at the box office. This movie was a blockbuster in Nepal and Also second part is now running in theaters. Overall, As a viewer am not that impressed with this movie and Only recommended to those who want to see a Nepali language movie.

Starring Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson & Russell Crowe.
Nick and Chris are US soldiers who sell valuable treasures in the black market. During a mission, they accidentally step into an ancient Egyptian tomb that contains Egyptian princess Ahmanet.
The first installment of Universal's Dark Universe monster series starts off without offering any new to the viewers. As usual, Tom Cruise captivates his role with his charm and action sequences. The backstory of Ahmanet was nicely presented and Sophia Boutella's transitions, her style all favor the character of Ahmanet positively. The 3D effect on a particular scene really fascinates me and that was my favorite scene too. The sound department comes heavy and very loud. Apart from few poor jokes, it's a watchable action movie and I enjoyed it.

Both Banderas and Meyers performance brings out something new to their filmography. The screenplay of this movie is based on a french tv series 'Papillon Noir'. When it comes to this movie, it's a slow burner and Goodman does a fine job in making it more confusing for the viewers. Overall, The final act was kind of twist after twist stuff which ends with an unpredictable scene or you don't have any clue what the hell actually happened.
